ft. lauderdale beach

We woke up the next morning and said goodbye to Ft Lauderdale.

Here they are fake crying about leaving this beautiful view!
We went and grabbed breakfast at this cute little restaurant
The decorations were so cool, and they had a little train that went around the perimeter of the restaurant.
They loved it!
After breakfast we drove to a beach to take some pictures of the kids for our Christmas cards.
It was such a gorgeous setting
They were waiting to go swimming on the beach so they were good little models!  Ha!
Why does she look 16 instead of 6??
Mt sweet, handsome boy
Cheese!

I just love this one!
After our photo shoot the kids couldn't wait to hit the beach!
My little beach babe
They had been waiting a long time to swim in the ocean!

They love building sand castles and burying themselves
He's just chillin'.... living his best life
And we have a mermaid!

More tumbling in the sand!

They had a ton of fun swimming with Daddy!
Proof that I got in too!  Ha!  There was a lot of seaweed in the water on this particular beach, but as you can see- they didn't care!
We got cleaned up and grabbed lunch before heading back to Orlando.  We spotted this giant iguana just hanging out on the counter!
Just a reminder that we're in Florida, right?
As we waited for our table we watched the iguana move...
The kids were fascinated by it!  Ha!
Got our table and had some yummy burgers and fries!
Two thumbs up for this view!
We hated saying goodbye to Ft. Lauderdale.  We loved this little beach town so much!  We made some awesome memories here but we have more fun planned in Orlando for the next few days!
