countdown to summer

This post is all about our school events leading up to the end of the year!  It seems like there is always so much going on at school towards the end of the year when the weather warms up.  It's all fun stuff!
Our school had a bike rodeo and the kids had a blast!
It was funny, this was the last time she rode her bike with training wheels!  After this night we went home and she asked Daddy to take them off!
Andrew loved the ramps!
They had people from the local bike shop there pumping up tires and checking over the bikes for safety.
Sweet friends
They practiced safety rules, had crosswalks and kids standing out with signs, etc.  It was a really fun event!
Ga Ga was pretty excited about this her girl wrote at school.
We also had sidewalk chalk day where all the classes went outside and colored the sidewalks!
Andrew with some buddies
I got to sneak over and see the kindergarteners too!

She was proud of her pretty rainbow!
Then our school had the fun fair outside one beautiful weekend day.
Daddy signed up to work at tug of war so it was a hit with all the kids!
I love his smile!
These girls had fun too!

They had sack races...
Water relays...
Three legged races...
Giant Jenga!
And bouncy slides!
These girls had so much fun doing this!

I love this look of pure joy!
Kerigan and her sweet friend Laila
But I think the hit of the day was the dunk tank!  The kids had a blast trying to dunk their principal!
Andrew loved sinking his teacher Mrs. Beaver!  Look at him run!  Ha!
This girl came to eat lunch in my classroom one day and I loved every minute.
Kerigan's awesome Kindergarten teacher did a fun countdown with balloons and every day they got to pop one and do the activity.  This day was sidewalk chalk!
And this was movie star glasses day!  I just love her sweet class and teacher.
The school had a talent show and Andrew did his Taekwondo form!
We were so proud of him as he gets nervous performing in front of people.  He did so good!
I grabbed Kerigan out of class for a few minutes so she could watch him.
Then she had lunch with me again!

I can't believe the school year is coming to an end!
