The kids were so excited to wake up to the North Pole breakfast and the return of Buddy the Elf and Cocoa the reindeer!
They had fun playing the elf ring toss game!
This was such an exciting start to the season!
After breakfast we packed up and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's for the Huegel Christmas!
Grandpa and Grandma with all their grandchildren! 6 girls and 3 boys!
We always do a kids gift exchange and the kids always look forward to seeing who had their name and opening their gifts from each other!
Jayden had Kerigan's name!
She loved her Frozen microphone and frozen tent!
"Let it go!!!!!!"
Aunt Rachel also knitted her a bunny- what a special gift!
Jack had Andrew's name!
He was so excited- he's really into robots this year!
Andrew had Jayden's name. Can you tell Andrew loves nothing more than being with his cousins?
Kerigan had baby Kenzie's name- we got her her first Little People princess castle- one of Kerigan's favorite toys!
They love their tradition of having a sleepover by the tree in the basement and watching a Christmas movie together! This is something Andrew looks forward to more than anything else.
Cousins snuggling in the morning!
Then on Saturday morning we always head to a large hall that is rented by Craig's mother's side of the family. She has 9 brothers and sisters and so we all get together with all of their kids and grandkids! It is always a good time. This picture is Craig's grandma, mom, dad, 4 siblings and all their spouses and kids.
The kids always bring a bunch of toys to share with each other and it's always fun!
Huge craft table!
Andrew loved this circuit toy of Jack's.
They also have an outdoor play set and swings, which the kids always use! There wasn't much snow and the weather was pretty nice for playing outside!
Grandma Nosbisch with Kerigan and Andrew. She is the sweetest lady. She has over 30 grandchildren and probably 30 great grandchildren and she never forgets one birthday. She sends us all cards and money every single year. She's amazing!
That night Craig always has fun playing games with his siblings and parents. This night he taught his daughter how to play poker- Ha!
You can tell she was enjoying it!
The next morning Kerigan was sitting with Grandpa and was sad to be leaving. I couldn't get her to smile!
Grandma and the kids!
When we got home, Buddy had moved! I wonder how that happened when none of us were home? (Thanks Ga Ga and Papa!)
And here's to the start of the Christmas season!
